Free Entry to Cleethorpes Game
20th November, 2012
Cleethorpes Town have teamed up with local newspaper, the Grimsby Evening Telegraph, and club sponsor, Pattesons Pickles, to provide free entry for Saturday's home clash with Clipstone Welfare.
To qualify, supporters need to bring along a voucher that will be published in the newspaper from Wednesday.
The move will certainly see Cleethorpes' attendance being boosted for the game as it is hoped to attract many people from the local area to come and see Baris Northern Counties East League football.
Vice Chairman and Marketing Manager David Mann explained: "We are not sure if this kind of link up has been done before in the league.
"The increased exposure brings many benefits to the club including continuing to build on the hard work of the club's volunteers and bring something back to our sponsors who have supported the club through its growth.
"If, as a club, we can encourage some of the voucher holders to return for future games then, as a club, we contributed in not just building the exposure of our club and its sponsors but also that of the league."
Turnstiles for the game will open at 1:15pm and vouchers will be accepted for free entry until the capacity has been reached.
Those without vouchers will pay the standard admission prices of ?3 for adults and ?1 for concessions.
