Despite their 3-0 defeat to Bottesford Town on Tuesday night in Baris NCEL Division One, Rossington Main did have some reason to cheer.

The Oxford Street side were given a welcome financial boost by the transport and travel firm, First Group.

They have a charity and sponsorship fund for worthy causes within the community and, with the support of First Doncaster Operations Manager Peter Mair, a bid from the club proved successful.

First have very kindly awarded ?1,000 to Rossington Main to go towards the improvement of facilities at their ground.

The club and the committee at Rossington Main say they are hugely thankful to Pete and First Group for their generosity.
