Former Main Striker Gets International Call-Up
1st October, 2012
Zeph Thomas, who used to play in the Baris NCEL with Rossington Main and is now plying his trade in the Scottish Football League, has been called up for international duty.
He's been called up to the St Kitts and Nevis squad for their Caribbean Cup matches this month.
They will take on Anguilla (10th), Trindad & Tobago (12th) and French Guiana (14th) in Group 5 of the competition.
It has been a remarkable twelve months for Thomas who was spotted whilst playing for Main and took up a professional contract in Belgium with Royal Racing Montegnee last December.
Spending four months there he was again 'in between clubs' and, after a few games with Swinton WMC, the call came from Cowdenbeath of the Scottish First Division where he has made three substitute appearances.
