Despite freezing temperatures on Tuesday and snow on Wednesday night, all but one of the midweek Toolstation NCEL matches were completed. The only disappointment came in the top two clash in Division One where
Harrogate Railway Atheltic's trip to the leaders
Campion was called off at half-time due to snow with the scoreline 2-1 in the visitors favour.
The Premier Division title race, meanwhile, swung further in
North Ferriby's direction as they were 4-2 home winners over
Eccleshill United.
Danny Clarke gave the Villagers a 39th minute lead but the visiting Eagles levelled and then went ahead either side of the interval, firstly through a Fernando Moke strike and then an Andrew Cooper penalty.
Clarke's second restored parity and then a brace from Danny Earl ensured the points fully belonged to Chris Bolder's side.
Ferriby are now seven points clear of second-placed
Winterton Rangers who drew 0-0 at
Silsden AFC who stay eleventh in the table.
Goole AFC were unable to extend the gap between themselves and the relegation zone as they were beaten 3-1 at
Barton Town.
Joshua Lacey, Samuel Cable and Thomas Waudby netted for the Swans before Jordan Hines struck for the Vikings, who remain a point above the bottom two, on the hour mark.
Elsewhere,
Hallam came from two goals down to claim a point at
Albion Sports, Kieren Watson and Oliver Fearon finding the net in the last quarter-of-an-hour after Hass Gorji and Jordan Spencer had got on the scoresheet for the Lions in the opening period.
And,
Hemsworth Miners Welfare fought back to draw 4-4 at
Maltby Main, Nash Connolly and Jason Davis with late goals for the away side to ensure a fascinating game ended all square.
In the games that were completed in Division One,
Wakefield AFC strengthened their grip on a play-off place as Jaydan Sandhu's hat-trick helped them to a 4-0 home win over
Retford FC.
Lewis Stephens also scored for the hosts who now have a nine-point cushion in the top five whilst Retford stay in eighth spot with an outside chance of claiming a spot in the play-offs.
Seventh-placed
Brigg Town are back firmly in the hunt for promotion as Joseph Pugh's 78th minute decider secured a 1-0 victory at
Dronfield Town.
The Zebras are now a point behind
Horbury Town who took the lead through Jak Kelly on the half-hour but went down 3-1 at
Shirebrook Town.
George Slack struck twice, sandwiching a Sean Dickinson goal, as the Derbyshire side picked up a priceless win that moves them off the bottom of the table and just two points away from safety with two games in hand.
Meanwhile, the remaining place in the League Cup Semi-Finals has been filled by
Emley AFC who won 3-2 at home to
Thackley in their last eight tie.
Benjamin Wignall put the away side ahead on seven minutes but the scores were level at the break courtesy of Samuel Pashley.
Alex Metcalfe's penalty and a goal from Callum Charlton gave the hosts a 3-1 lead by the interval and, although Aidan Chippendale halved the deficit on 79, the Pewits held on to join
Golcar United,
Handsworth and
Winterton Rangers in the final four.
