North Ferriby's eleventh consecutive win, a 4-2 victory at Hemsworth Miners Welfare on Saturday, means they stay eleven points clear at the top of the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division.The Villagers raced into a 4-0 lead with a Danny Earl brace, along with one each from Joshua Dennett and Amir Berchil, in the opening 32 minutes at the Just Football MDC Sports Stadium.
Hemsworth pulled goals back in the final quarter of the game through Jakub Hebda and Harry Viggars but they could not complete the comeback so they stay sixth and are now nine points away from the top two.
Second-placed
Winterton Rangers won 2-0 at
Penistone Church in their top-four clash with Paul Grimes breaking the deadlock on the half-hour before Josh Walker secured the victory in stoppage time.
Garforth Town move three points clear of Church in third and remain four points behind Rangers as they won 3-2 at
Golcar United.
The Miners twice led through James Burgess and a Daniel Coupland penalty but were pegged back on both occasions by Buddy Cox and a spot kick from Danny Stocker in a goal-filled opening period.
Sam Barker then put the Miners in front for a third and decisive time in the 51st minute for a victory that keeps them on the heels of Winterton in the chase for promotion.
Emley AFC lost a little ground in fifth as they had to come from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 at home with
Maltby Main, Joe Clegg and Joe Jagger with the goals after Brandon Bagley and Sam Ackroyd had seemingly put the visitors in control.
Silsden AFC and
Knaresborough Town both won to remain seventh and eighth, respectively, with a Ellis Hudson penalty and a Luke Brooksbank strike earning Silsden a 2-1 home victory over
Thackley.
Knaresborough beat basement side
Yorkshire Amateur 5-0 at the Southerns Stadium, Jacob Rose's first-half penalty added to after the interval by Gregg Anderson, Ewan Gregson, Philip Milsom and Cameron Bedford.
The Ammers stay fifteen points away from safety in the battle to avoid relegation as the side just outside the drop zone,
Goole AFC, went down 1-0 at home to
Albion Sports who eased their own demotion worries courtesy of Tabish Hussain's 68th minute winner.
The other side in the bottom two,
Bottesford Town, were beaten 3-1 at
Handsworth with Leon Howarth sealing the win for the hosts in stoppage time.
Oliver Fearon scored both of
Hallam's goals in a 2-2 home draw with
Eccleshill United whilst
Frickley Athletic played out a 1-1 draw with visitors
Barton Town.
Campion's advantage at the summit of Division One continues to be twelve points as, courtesy of goals from Aidan Kirby and Patrick Sykes, they won 2-0 at home to
Horbury Town.
Second-placed
Rossington Main were victorious in the Doncaster derby against neighbours
Armthorpe Welfare, Declan Slater, Bradley Grayson and Ross Hannah with their goals whilst Jamie Austin netted an equaliser for the visitors.
Harrogate Railway Athletic are now seventeen games unbeaten in the league after their 3-0 victory at
Athersley Recreation with all of the goals coming in the last ten minutes through a Kieran Greenway brace sandwiching one from Jacob Robertson.
The Rail are third, five points clear of
Staveley Miners Welfare who climb to fourth after their 3-1 win at
Dronfield Town with Joshua Pickering, Jack Allerton and Marley Grant scoring for the Trojans who leapfrog
Wakefield AFC who drew 0-0 at
Worsbrough Bridge Athletic.
Glasshoughton Welfare have moved off the foot of Division One for the first time since the end of November as they won 2-0 at home to fellow bottom three side
Shirebrook Town.
Harrison Rowley and George Munashe Mwale got the goals in a vital game that lifts them to eighteenth, above their opponents and Athersley who are the new basement residents following their defeat.
The two sides just outside the relegation zone met with
Parkgate picking up a priceless 2-0 home victory over
Swallownest, Ross Duggan and Liam Royles ensuring that the Steelmen jumped above their visitors with the gap to the trapdoor increasing to three points.
Elsewhere, Owen Vincent scored twice as
Brigg Town won 5-3 at
Beverley Town to move the Zebras up to seventh in the table above
Retford FC who were beaten 2-0 at
Ollerton Town, thanks to goals from Ashley Grayson and Adam Scott.
And, a brace of Liam Flanagan penalties ensured that
Selby Town were 2-1 winners at
Nostell Miners Welfare with the Robins up to twelfth in the table whilst the home side stay fifteenth.
