Eccleshill United remain the only Toolstation NCEL side in this season's Isuzu FA Vase after their penalty shoot-out win at Wythenshawe Town on Saturday.Six of our teams were involved in Second Round action but the Eagles were the only one to progress, beating their hosts 4-3 on spot kicks after a 2-2 draw.
Fernando Moke's penalty and a Luke Sidaway strike had Eccleshill two goals up by the interval but Wythenshawe restored parity in the second period.
Elsewhere, however, there was disappointment as
Emley AFC and
Hallam both bowed out on penalties after 1-1 home draws.
Samuel Pashley netted an equaliser for Emley at home to Squires Gate whilst Brett Agnew had opened the scoring for Hallam against their visitors Bury AFC.
Brigg Town were beaten 3-0 at home by Cheadle Town,
Thackley went out by the same scoreline to Abbey Hey at Dennyfield, and
Ollerton Town lost 4-0 at Lye Town.
In the Premier Division, leaders
North Ferriby are now five points clear at the summit after a 4-2 win at
Handsworth.

Campion's fifteenth straight league victory has extended their lead at the top of Division One to eleven points, a Connor Williamson own goal added to by Aidan Day in a 2-1 win at
Swallownest that saw Williamson also score for the hosts.
Harrogate Railway Athletic replaced
Rossington Main in third after beating them 2-0 at Station View, Albert Ibrahimi and Elliot Holmes with the goals for the Rail.
