The chasing pack in the Baris NCEL Premier Division title race failed to take advantage of leaders Bridlington Town's participation in the East Riding Senior Cup at the weekend.
Worksop Parramore, who began the day in second spot, went down 2-1 at Tadcaster Albion who remain in sixth spot despite that victory.
Ryan Qualter and Tom Owen gave the Brewers a two goal advantage before Simon Mirfin pulled one back for the visitors with five minutes remaining.
Brighouse Town and Scarborough Athletic, who were third and fourth, moved above the Parras after their meeting at the Neil Hudgell Law Stadium ended 3-3.
Brighouse were twice ahead in the opening period through Danny Nadiole and Tom Matthews but the Seadogs drew level on both occasions to make it 2-2 at the break with goals from Tony Hackworth and Ryan Blott.

Long Eaton United drop to eighth after an 89th minute winner from Adam Shepherd saw visitors Parkgate leave Grange Park with a 2-1 victory.
Simon Ward struck almost as late for Retford United at Thackley as the Badgers won by a single goal to move up into ninth spot.
There were home victories for Heanor Town, Liversedge and Maltby Main.
Heanor dispatched Glasshoughton Welfare 3-0 whilst a Danny Toronczak brace helped Sedge win 3-1 against Arnold Town and Sam Foulds scored twice in the first-half as Maltby defeated Armthorpe Welfare, 2-1.
And, the spoils were shared by Nostell Miners Welfare and Pickering Town with Joel Ramm's injury-time equaliser for the Pikes making it finish 1-1.
The top two sides in Division One both won, keeping Athersley Recreation's lead at the summit to four points after their 4-2 victory at Bottesford Town.
Cleethorpes Town came from behind twice to beat visitors Eccleshill United, 3-2, to stay in second spot, Lee McFarland's 48th minute strike proving to be the winner.
The top five includes Louth Town, Worsbrough Bridge Athletic and Knaresborough Town who all won to go above Pontefract Collieries who lost 2-0 at home to AFC Emley
Nick Manders and Matt Kennedy netted in three second-half minutes in their 2-1 home win over Clipstone Welfare whilst a late double from Lee Garside saw Worsbrough defeat visitors Rossington Main, 3-1.
And, Knaresborough won 1-0 at Shirebrook Town, Danny Wright's 85th minute goal separating the sides in a defeat that saw Shirebrook fall five places to tenth.
Teversal are up into seventh after their 3-1 victory at Hemsworth Miners Welfare whilst Albion Sports climbed to eighth as they thrashed Askern Villa 9-1 at the Horsfall Stadium, Daniel Facey with a hat-trick for the Lions.
Oliver Bradbury struck all four goals for Appleby Frodingham as they moved out of the bottom two at the expense of their hosts Hallam following their 4-3 victory.
