Baris NCEL 2012/13 Match Review #24
25th October, 2012
Lincoln Moorlands Railway picked up their first win of the season with a 1-0 victory at high-flying Tadcaster Albion in midweek.
Kevin Lusamba got the only goal of the game just before the interval but, despite their recent upturn in form, Moorlands remain bottom of the Baris NCEL Premier Division table whilst Tadcaster are seventh.
Barton Town Old Boys have climbed into fourth after their 1-0 victory at home to Pickering Town, Steve Norton with the strike early in the second period.
And, there was a four-goal thriller at the Clayborn Ground as Liversedge and Heanor Town shared the spoils.
Nathan Benger put Heanor ahead, the hosts levelled through Matthew Bugg and Dwayne Wiley restored the visitors' lead, all within the opening ten minutes.
Lee Stevenson doubled the Lions' advantage before the break and, when Benger got his second and their fourth, it looked as though it was game over.
But, Jarrod Peltier, Luke Richardson brought Liversedge's deficit to one goal before Kieran Corley got the equaliser in injury-time as it finished 4-4.
There was not much movement in Division One with the two midweek games both ending 2-2.
Andy Jones rescued a point for Clipstone Welfare at home to Bottesford Town twelve minutes from time.
Albion Sports left it later at Worsbrough Bridge Athletic as they claimed the draw with a goal from James Stansfield on 85 minutes.
