Worksop Parramore maintained their place at the top of the Baris NCEL Premier Division table after Lee Whittington's hat-trick helped them to a 5-3 win at Thackley on Bank Holiday Monday.

They remain two points clear of Parkgate whose 2-0 victory at Armthorpe Welfare, courtesy of goals from Christopher Wood both sides of half-time, means they are still unbeaten after six matches.

Third-placed Scarborough Athletic lost some ground as they were held to a 3-3 draw at home by Liversedge, Gibril Bojang striking twice in the last five minutes including an injury time penalty to snatch a point.

Goals from Scott Bibby and Adam Scott helped move Retford United up into fourth as they won 3-1 at home to Winterton Rangers.

They go above Long Eaton United who went down 4-3 at Hall Road Rangers, Craig Suddaby with a last-minute winner for the hosts.

Barton Town Old Boys were 3-1 home winners over Glasshoughton Welfare whilst Brighouse Town won 2-1 against visitors Bridlington Town, Danny Nadiole with the 68th minute winner.

A Daniel Gray brace secured a 2-1 away victory for Tadcaster Albion at Arnold Town whilst Maltby Main won 2-0 at Nostell Miners Welfare.

Clipstone Welfare are still top of Division One despite a 4-1 defeat at Teversal.

The home side were two up within four minutes thanks to a David Cockerill double and Oliver Wood added a third before Gavin King replied for Welfare on 27 minutes.

Shaun Tuton made sure of the win, however, with a quarter-of-an-hour remaining.

Athersley Recreation are second, now a point behind Clipstone, after a 4-1 home win over bottom side Appleby Frodingham with all their goals coming in the opening period.

AFC Emley drop to third after a Ben Lamb injury-time equaliser earned their visitors Eccleshill United a point in a 1-1 draw.

Matt Kennedy's 71st minute penalty ensured a 1-0 home victory for Louth Town over Rossington Main and they are now fourth whilst Yorkshire Amateur's excellent start to the season continued as they won by the same scoreline at Pontefract Collieries, Craig Heard with the first-half goal.

There were away wins for Dinnington Town, Knaresborough Town and Cleethorpes Town at Askern Villa, Grimsby Borough and Selby Town, respectively.

Bottesford Town won 1-0 at home to Worsbrough Bridge Athletic whilst Hemsworth Miners Welfare defeated visitors Shirebrook Town, 4-2.

Tuesday night saw Staveley Miners Welfare's adventure end in the FA Cup with Budweiser as, despite first half strikes from Jordan Eagers and Ryan Damms, they went down 5-2 at Bamber Bridge in their Preliminary Round Replay.

And, Heanor Town moved up to thirteenth in the Premier Division as a Nathan Benger double secured a 2-0 win at Lincoln Moorlands Railway on Wednesday night whilst Albion Sports were 5-2 home winners over Hallam to climb into seventh in Division One.
