Fundraiser Acker Shaw is a well-known face across the ground of the Toolstation NCEL, tirelessly collecting money in his bucket for Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity and raising over £117,000 so far.

And, Acker's collection received a boost on Monday from one of the league's ground grading officers, Mark Carratt.

Mark was called into action back in December when he was unexpectedly asked to be an assistant referee in the Premier Division match between Maltby Main and Yorkshire Amateur.

And, he kindly donated his match fee from that game into Acker’s bucket as Maltby played Handsworth yesterday, boosting the total collection at the match to an impressive £96.29.
