Researchers into the links between mental health and well-being and sport are asking for help from those involved in Toolstation NCEL football.

Ben Jeffrey is assisting Dr James Rumbold at Sheffield Hallam University to recruit individuals who compete in sport to complete a short online questionnaire on athlete well-being, to advance the science behind mental health in sport.

Those who take part can benefit by gaining an understanding of how coping with stress in sport may reduce the likelihood of experiencing burnout.

Moreover, the findings of this study could have important implications for advancing mental health support within sport.
