New book focuses on Lincolnshire football grounds

5th August, 2022

A new book looking at football grounds in Lincolnshire, including those who are plying their trade or have been involved in the Toolstation NCEL, is being released next month.

Renowned journalist Steve Penny has penned Pilgrims' Patch that features every club in the county from Lincoln City to Lincoln Moorlands Railway and from Barton Town to Long Sutton Athletic.

There is a focus on 36 Lincolnshire clubs plus brief details of many others on more than 160 pages with ground pictures, team shirts, logos, club information and travel details.

And, former clubs and grounds are included in a Gone But Not Forgotten section with old programme covers, photos, historical features and much more.

The book will be available from Amazon in September for £15.99 but early subscribers can get it for £13.99 with free postage and includes your special dedication in print.

There are also special rates for club shops and bulk purchases but offers are only available until 14th August, 2022.

For any further details, please email Steve at pilgrimsteve@proton.me.
