Proposed Constitution Revealed
24th May, 2013
Following this week's meeting of the FA Leagues Committee, the following is the proposed constitution of the NCEL for the 2013/14 season.
The Premier Division will have 24 teams with Garforth Town and Hucknall Town returning to the league from the Northern Premier League whilst we also welcome Basford United from the East Midlands Counties League, and Albion Sports and Athersley Recreation take their places after their promotion from Division One.
Leaving the Premier Division are Scarborough Athletic, who go up into the Northern Premier League, Arnold Town, who go down into the East Midlands Counties League, and Hall Road Rangers, who are relegated into Division One.
Division One will stay at 22 teams with Central Midlands League side Dronfield Town replacing Askern Villa, who go in the opposite direction, whilst Shaw Lane Aquaforce will come in from the Sheffield & Hallamshire County Senior League.
Please note that the proposed constitution is subject to change before clubs vote on it at the League AGM on Saturday 8th June and the new season will begin on Saturday 10th August.
