Ex-NCEL Match Officials Take Charge of Major Games

12th March, 2013

There has been excellent news regarding five of the Baris NCEL's former match officials.

Craig Pawson made his Barclays Premier League debut as referee for the clash between Swansea City and Newcastle United at the Liberty Stadium last Saturday (2nd March).

Scott Ledger was an assistant referee for the Carling Cup Final at Wembley Stadium between Swansea City and Bradford City.

John Moss has been named referee and Darren England will be one of his assistants for the FA Trophy Final between Grimsby Town and Wrexham at Wembley later this month.

And, Ian Dudley will be on the line during the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Final between Crewe Alexandra and Southend United in April, also at Wembley.

Congratulations to all five on their achievements and they are the latest in a long line of top match officials who learned their trade in the NCEL.
