Five teams, including two from the Toolstation NCEL, will contest the Yorkshire Trophy after revamped details were announced by its organisers.

The tournament was originally due to start tomorrow and comprise of twelve sides but, due to Government guidelines confirming that fans would not be allowed into stadiums until the middle of next month, the start was delayed with a number of teams withdrawing.

It will now take place from 17th to 31st May, 2021, and will include organisers Brighouse Town, Golcar United, Wakefield AFC, and two of our sides, Liversedge and Penistone Church.

They will play each other once in a round-robin competition with the top two then facing off in a final at Brighouse's Yorkshire Pay Stadium at the end of the month.

Fixtures will be revealed in due course.
