Buildbase FA Vase to resume in mid-April
11th March, 2021
The FA have announced that the 2020/21 Buildbase FA Vase, that was suspended at New Year due to the tightening of the Government's COVID-19 restrictions, will resume next month.
Two Toolstation NCEL sides remain in the competition, with North Ferriby and Liversedge both still in the running to make it to Finals Day at Wembley towards the end of May.
Outstanding Third Round ties, including North Ferriby's replayed home match with Seaham Red Star, are scheduled for Saturday 10th April, 2021, with the Fourth Round matches, including Liversedge's trip to Hebburn Town, taking place the following weekend.
The full schedule is as follows:
• Third round proper – Saturday 10th April, 2021
• Fourth round proper – Saturday 17th April, 2021
• Fifth round proper – Saturday 24th April, 2021
• Sixth round proper – Saturday 1st May, 2021
• Semi-Finals – Saturday 8th May, 2021
• The Final – Saturday 22nd May, 2021
All matches will be subject to the Government's "Roadmap Out of Lockdown" which means that, at the moment, it is believed that all fixtures until 17th May, 2021, will need to be behind closed doors and limited spectators will be allowed for the final at Wembley.
The FA say they will provide further information at the earliest opportunity.
