Doyle steps down as East Hull boss

13th December, 2020

East Hull have begun the search for a new manager after Nathan Doyle stepped down from his role in the dugout at the Toolstation NCEL Division One side.

The club, who are now playing their home games at Goole AFC's Victoria Pleasure Grounds, said in a statement released on social media on Saturday: "Due to extended work commitments, our manager Nathan Doyle has decided to take a step back from the club for the remainder of this current football season.

"All at the club are extremely grateful of the work and commitment that Nathan has shown to the club.

"Further to our update, we are pleased to announce that Andy Watts has agreed to take the reins as manager on an interim basis until a new management team has been confirmed.

"Once again we would like to thank Andy Watts for his continued support of the club."

A deadline of Friday 18th December, 2020, has been set by East Hull for applications to become their new boss.

Anyone who is interested is asked to email their chairman Richard Smales at richardsmales86@gmail.com to discuss more about the role.
