North Ferriby's Buildbase FA Vase adventure continued with a dramatic Third Round victory at home to Seaham Red Star on Tuesday night.Things looked bleak for the Villagers when they trailed 2-0 by the interval to their Northern League opponents, Luke Sullivan's twentieth minute penalty added to by Andrew Johnson's strike just past the half hour mark.
But, Chris Bolder's man fought back excellently in the second period with Levi Tarbotton netting on the hour and Danny Buttle putting away his own spot kick on 72.
That led to a 2-2 draw and a penalty shoot-out that saw North Ferriby prevail in a 7-6 thriller and join
Liversedge as the Toolstation NCEL's representatives in the last 32 next month.

Tuesday night's two league games, Yorkshire Amateur's home clash with
Penistone Church and

Emley AFC, were postponed due to snow.
And, the league is now suspended until at least 13th January, 2021, following the news that a number of our sides are now in areas with Tier 4 COVID-19 restrictions meaning 'non-elite' football is not allowed whilst the rapid rise in cases across our region is also a cause for concern.
