Fair Play Award to be named after former chairman

21st September, 2020

From the 2020/21 season, the Toolstation NCEL Fair Play Award will be named after our former chairman and referees secretary David Morrall.

David was instrumental, alongside the league's sponsors, in the establishment of the award in 2011 to help promote fair play and sportsmanship at our level of non-league football.

The league is delighted, therefore, to name the award - now to be known as the David Morrall Fair Play Award - in his honour after ill health forced him to stand down from his roles in the NCEL and the FA after many years of great service.

The Fair Play League tables for the Premier Division and Division One will be updated weekly with monthly and seasonal winners announced from each division.
