Selby Town are appealing for help after they came so close to compiling a complete record of their ninety year history.

Three Robins supporters have been poring through the history books to find all their club's results as the North Yorkshire side celebrate their special anniversary.

But, they have come agonisingly just one score short and are now hoping that someone out there can help them out.

The game that has eluded them so far is their 1962/63 Yorkshire League match at Yorkshire Amateur.

Secretary Tommy Arkley said: "If anyone out there can help us out with any detail of this fixture, the result, the scorers etc. that would be fantastic.

"All avenues the trio have tried thus far have drawn a blank, so we are appealing to anyone who might know."
