Baris NCEL Division One side Shirebrook Town will say thanks to one of their longest-serving players at a testimonial this weekend.Martin Rowbottom's commitment to the Langwith Road side started back in season 1993/94 to his retirement in May 2011, making some 389 appearances for the club.
The testimonial game, after consultation with Martin, gives the opportunity for many of his old colleagues, managers, players and friends to have an enjoyable day.
A Shirebrook Town XI will play Rowy's Ugly Blokes XI on Sunday 28th August with a kick-off time of midday and the admission charge will be ?2.
Players fortunate enough to be selected will be charged ?5 each.
All proceeds from the day will be presented to Martin, who has been an exceptional club servant and outstanding ambassador for Shirebrook Town.
