Ex-Pro Becomes Coach at Villa

John Buckley has taken up the role as first team coach at Askern Villa.
John is an ex-professional who made over 350 appearances for various clubs both sides of the border, operating as a tricky winger.
He played for Celtic, Partick Thistle, Doncaster Rovers, Leeds United, Rotherham United and Scunthorpe.
John was forced to retire from the game due to injury, when upon he decided to go into coaching and quickly gained all of his badges and now holds a UEFA A licence.
He is a vastly experienced coach who has worked at Leeds United And Hull City Acadamies.
John is currently manager of Doncaster Belles and will initially undertake the coaching role on a part time basis.

"John's experience is second to none and is known as one of the best coaches in the district, which will no doubt assist in our progression through the leagues."
