Wrens Tribute To Crash Victims
20th February, 2009
Rainworth Miners Welfare will pay tribute this weekend to four teenagers who lost their lives in a car crash.
Joshua Drinkwater, Thomas Hudson, Ross Johnson and Jay Thompson were all ex-pupils of Joseph Whittaker School in the village and were good friends with many of the Wrens squad.
They were in a horrific crash on the A614 near Bilsthorpe last Friday night where Edwinstowe couple, Jonathan and Christine Bray, also lost their lives.
The Wrens will wear black armbands and there will be a minute's silence before their KoolSport NCEL Division One match at Brighouse Town.
