Glasshoughton Welfare have announced a new First and Reserve Team shirt sponsor for the coming season.

Local construction company Cowell Construction of Castleford will be the first name to adorn the new KoolSport shirts that Welfare will wear for the first time in the inaugural KoolSport season.

Cowell have previously been the shirt sponsor for the club's highly successful Under-9 team and readily agreed to sponsor the senior team shirts and gain wider coverage throughout Derby, Notts and the whole of Yorkshire.

The club and its sponsors have been extremely pleased with the team-building work that manager, Dave Holmes, has carried out throughout the summer in his efforts to ensure success in 2008/09.

Holmes has stated that he is hoping to sign two top quality ex-Unibond players in the next few days.
