Baris NCEL Premier Division
Staveley Miners Welfare kept their unbeaten run going on Saturday with a fine 3-0 away win at mid-table Liversedge. They have now won six and drawn two from eight games so far. The latest points came courtesy of two Ryan Damms goals and another from Joe Thornton.
Bridlington Town stayed top of the division, beating second-placed Parkgate 3-1 in South Yorkshire. Craig Palmer and Craig Hogg gave the visitors a 2-0 half-time lead, and Hogg scored a second of his own to give Mitch Cook's men a 3-0 lead. Matthew Griffin scored late consolation for the home side. Retford United took advantage of Parkgate's slip up to take second place. But they had to wait until the 90th minute for Jamie Brown to score the only goal at home against Maltby Main.
Scarborough Athletic also moved up the table, as the division's in-form team beat bottom side Selby Town 2-0 at Queensgate. Curtis Bernard scored twice in the first half to secure the points, keeping his personal run going as the Seadogs made it five wins from five. Former Hull City legend Dean Windass made his Boro debut in the second half, and was only denied a goal by excellent shot-stopping by Selby's Jody Barford.
Tadcaster Albion took a 2-0 half-time lead at home against Pickering Town in another North Yorkshire derby through Graeme Whitehead and Carl Stewart. The Pikes pulled one back in the second half via Richard Batley, but couldn't score again and the Brewers took the three points.
Currently in fourth place are Thackley, who won 3-1 away at Long Eaton United. James Hunter had equalised for Long Eaton after Brice Taini had given Thackley a 24th minute lead. Chris Davey put Thackley ahead in the second half, before Tiani secured the points with a second.
A Gareth Barlow double set Barton Town Old Boys going at home against Lincoln Moorlands Railway, and Richard Medcalf added another to give them a comfortable lead. Tom Finnigan hit a late consolation for Lincoln. Arnold Town picked up their first away win of the season at Hall Road Rangers. A Josh Schofield penalty put the visitors in front on 19 minutes, but Dave Ricardo equalised ten minutes later. Luke Smithson's 63rd minute goal for Arnold gave them the 2-1 victory.
Brighouse Town dropped places after a 1-0 away defeat at Armthorpe Welfare. James Walker's 83rd minute goal was the difference. There were no goals however at Nostell Miners Welfare however, as they fought out a 0-0 draw against Winterton Rangers.
Baris NCEL Division One
The smallest crowd of the day in the NCEL - 36 - saw Worksop Parramore consolidate their lead at the top of the first division with a 2-1 win away at Grimsby Borough. Jamie Smith was their hero, as he notched twice to cancel out Grimsby's opener by Josh Fuller. Hot on the heels of Worksop are Handsworth, who secured the three points with a 3-0 win against AFC Emley with three goals by Sam Smith.
Third-placed Glasshoughton Welfare slipped up at Hallam 2-1 - losing their unbeaten record in the process. Despite taking an early lead through Carl Fothergill, Glasshoughton succumbed to an equaliser from Liam Morris soon after, and a second half winner from Craig Getliff.
Bottesford Town were the top-scorers in the division on Saturday - scoring five goals to beat Yorkshire Amateur 5-1 in North Lincolnshire. Carl Slack's finishing was tight, as he scored a hat-trick, with Scott Wilby and Craig Bridge adding the other two goals. Nathan Thomas replied for the visitors.
Askern Villa and Eccleshill both won at home 3-0, against Appleby Frodingham and Hemsworth respectively. The other three games on the day saw Louth Town beat Albion Sports 1-0 at home, Pontefract Collieries win 1-0 against visitors Worsbrough Bridge, and a goalless draw between Dinnington Town and Teversal.

In the first round of the Derbyshire Senior Cup, Shirebrook Town took on Gamesley. A Michael Lyall goal in the 78th gave the NCEL division one side the victory.
