Handsworth moved up into second spot in Baris NCEL Division One with a comfortable 3-0 home win over Bottesford Town in midweek.
Brian Cusworth had given them an eighteenth-minute lead before David Cockerill and Tom Roebuck made sure of the victory in the second period to join leaders Worksop Parramore on twelve points from five games.
Rossington Main are up into the top five after beating Eccleshill United by the same scoreline, Jamie Green netting in the first half whilst Lee Holmes and Ben Hunter made sure of the win before the hour mark.
Grimsby Borough came from behind to win 2-1 at home to Shirebrook Town and climb into seventh spot.
Carl Haslam had put Shirebrook ahead with twenty minutes remaining but Nathan Emson quickly levelled and Lee Stephenson struck the winner as the game went towards stoppage time.
Steve Wanilcz was a two-goal hero for Hallam as they won 4-1 at Yorkshire Amateur and Albion Sports were 2-1 victors at home to AFC Emley, moving the newcomers up into sixth with goals from Tony Vento and Joe Brown.
Worsbrough Bridge Athletic are through to the Second Round of the Baris NCEL League Cup but needed a last-minute winner from Peter Hirst to progress at the expense of visitors Appleby Frodingham in a 3-2 victory.
Louth Town, Dinnington Town and Glasshoughton Welfare all claimed places in the last eight of the Baris NCEL Wilkinson Sword Trophy.
Louth went through 5-4 on penalties after it had finished 2-2 after extra-time at Askern Villa.
Danny Reet and Danny Lindley were on the scoresheet for Dinnington as they triumphed 2-1 at home to Hemsworth Miners Welfare.
And, Andrew Seed's strike five minutes from time claimed Glasshoughton Welfare a single-goal home victory over Pontefract Collieries.
