The gap has grown because Sports' closest rivals, Pickering Town, were beaten 3-1 at Winterton Rangers.
It was their first defeat on their travels in the Premier Division this season.

Dinnington climbed to sixth after Michael Blythen and Gavin Allott helped them to a 2-0 home win over Maltby Main.
Nostell Miners Welfare put some space between themselves and the bottom four with a 2-1 win at Thackley.
Craig Stephens and Francis Johnson were their goalscorers before the hosts, who have now picked up only nine points out of thirty at home, got a consolation from Chris Coy.
Armthorpe Welfare leapfrogged over their visitors Hallam into fourteenth with a 3-0 win.
Danny Sharpe and Henry Sibenge had them in control by the break before a Gary Jones penalty on 58 minutes made sure of the victory.
Hall Road Rangers shared a 1-1 draw with Parkgate, Mark Caine claiming the point for the visitors with seventeen minutes remaining.
And, Bridlington Town's game at home to Liversedge was called off due to snow.
Askern Villa are the new leaders of Division One after their 2-1 win at Worsbrough Bridge Athletic. Daniel Ferguson and Michael Evans grabbed their goals whilst Nicky Murray scored towards the end for the hosts.
