Mickleover Sports returned back to the top of the KoolSport NCEL Premier Division as they handed six of the best to their visitors, Hall Road Rangers.
A Karl Ashton brace added to by strikes from Dave Middleditch, Ricky Law, Dan Martin and an own goal made it an afternoon to remember for Sports whilst Hall Road found the net once.
And, Mickleover leapfrogged over and are now three points clear of Pickering Town who were beaten 3-2 at home to Liversedge.
Liam Salt had put the Pikes ahead before Keiran Corley, Ryan Sugden and James Flowers in the last nine minutes of the opening period to give the visitors a 3-1 lead.
Chris Batchelor brought the hosts back into it before the hour mark but they couldn't find an elusive third to claim a draw.
Arnold Town are a further four points behind in third place after they were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Winterton Rangers.

The visitors did find the net through Bruno Holden on 73 minutes but by then Kevin Mabon, Paolo Piliero twice and Kelvin Mushambi had scored to put the hosts 4-0 up.
Martin Bowles completed the afternoon's goal rush for the hosts with three minutes remaining.
