Baris NCEL clubs got into the April Fools' spirit by putting up fake stories on their websites this morning - and they caught out a number of people!Dinnington Town got pulses racing amongst their fans when they announced that the Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders would be coming to their ground on the final day of the Baris NCEL season.

Thackley AFC claimed that they were considering a groundshare agreement with the Bradford Ladies' Rugby Club but admitted there may have to be rule changes, especially with regards to Rule 01.04.

Grimsby Borough announced that they were to merge with Louth Town to form a new club called Louth Borough from the start of next season but have since assured fans that it was an April Fools joke.

Worksop Parramore fans woke up to the news that local golfer Lee Westwood had bought the Division One club and their Sandy Lane ground for ?1.5m and that Liam Palmer, a former Worksop player, had been signed on loan from Sheffield Wednesday.

Last year, Bridlington Town, along with the local paper, the Free Press, had claimed that they were changing their kit to red and white with spots.
