The Baris Northern Counties East League has decided to clarify the situation once again regarding Christmas fixtures following the release of the Premier Division schedule.

As has always been the case, the schedule produced at the start of the season is a basic fixture list that will be changed around on a month-by-month basis to take various scenarios into account.

It is not and has never been the League's intention to play games on December 24th or December 31st this season.

Those matches have been left on those dates until new dates are given to them.

Once again for this season, as many local derby matches will be arranged as possible for Boxing Day.

So, that makes it futile to move the games currently scheduled for the 24th to the 26th as they would only have to be changed once again.

The Christmas line-up will be finalised as things get a little clearer and the League sees what matches have been played in the opening few months.

The above also applies to the Division One fixtures that will be released within the next few days.
