Lincoln Moorlands have confirmed that midfielder Mark Foster has quit the club in order to seek a return to his former side, Stamford AFC.

Secretary Graham Peck told the club's official website: "We are disappointed that, after such a short time, he has seen fit to leave as he was a useful asset here.

"We understand he was disappointed with the level of football and the club as a whole.

"Well, that is his view and it's a pity but, as a Club, we will move on without him and whoever fills his role will hopefully grab the opportunity with both hands.

"We have Ross Fleming and Chris McDonald, both of whom probably give more in terms of passion, and I am sure they will battle it out for the midfield slot."
