Lincoln Moorlands have secured the services of flying winger Danny Hargreaves from Bourne Town in time to play at Borrowash.

John Priestley has been a long time admirer of Hargreaves and has tried to get him to sign on previous occasions.

However, the player quit football for 12 months to travel the world and, on his return, signed for Stamford.

But, things didn't work out and he was released to join Bourne but again he was warming the bench.

Bourne have kindly released the player with immediate effect and Hargreaves was delighted to join up with Moorlands having known Priestley and one or two of the current squad.

The player commented: "I want to enjoy my football and I wasn't for a while and although it is a drop in standard I know the set up and will enjoy myself. The travelling at a higher level wears you down and that was even for home games! So, it will be nice to play local football again".

Hargreaves previously had spells at Harrowby United and Lincoln United in the Unibond League.
