Garforth Town Football Club are now looking for a new Groundsman to start work with the club in the New Year following the departure of Richard Cale.

According to the club's website: "Due to new work commitments, Richard was finding it hard to make time to attend to the pitch as much as he would have liked and thought it would be better to pass the job on to someone with more time to give the pitch the attention it needs.

"Garforth would like to take this opportunity to thank Richard for all his hard work through the years on improving the pitch."

Meanwhile, Garforth Town Captain Brett Renshaw told the website: "The pitch keeps getting better and better each season.

"Richard Cale and other volunteers have done a great job, and we will be sad to see Richard go."
