Garforth Town club captain Brett Renshaw has signed a three year contract to keep him at The Genix Healthcare Stadium until June 2009.

Manager Simon Clifford told the club's official website: "It's great news that Brett has agreed a new contract.

"As Club Captain he is key to the future of this team, he can see where the Club is going and he wants to play a pivotal role in our future."
Renshaw added: "I am delighted to be signing a new deal.

"I've always said that I want to be part of this Club both now and into the future.

"I'm looking forward to restarting my the season shortly and leading the team up into Unibond football."

After his recent broken foot, Brett is now on the road to recovery after coming out of plaster last week.

He'll be back in training in October and looking to re-start his season shortly after.
