Slimming World, based in Alfreton, have given their backing to Division One side, South Normanton Athletic.

The company, the largest slimming organisation in the UK, recently offered its support and sponsorship to the team, providing new branded warm-up tops and signage for the stand.

Club chairman, Colin Price, said: "It is thanks to the ongoing support we receive from local companies such as Slimming World that the club has been able to go from strength to strength.

"We're delighted with the new branded tops, they look really smart and it's always great for the team to get new pieces of kit."

Bridget Shirtcliffe, Slimming World HR manager, said: "Slimming World is a major employer in the local area and we're delighted to have the chance to contribute to the community by supporting a local sports team."
