Shiners Lose Second Striker To Shirebrook

South Normanton Athletic striker Damien Powell has followed Vladimir Santos Farrell to Shirebrook Town.
He transferred to Shirebrook on Friday evening following talks with Manager Graham Charlesworth and made his debut yesterday against league leaders Sheffield FC.
Powell had been up-and-down in his form at Lees Lane but had contributed significantly in their push for promotion to the Premier Division.
The Shiners Chairman Colin Price said: "Obviously, we are sorry to see Damien leave us at a vital time like this.
"We are pushing towards promotion but he decided to join Shirebrook and his friend Santos Farrell who joined them two weeks ago.
"We wish him the very best of luck."
