Retford United will be looking to close the gap that Sheffield have at the top of the Premier Division to just four points in what is a busy midweek schedule.

The Badgers, though, entertain a Carlton Town side who are themselves looking to move up from their current seventh position as the promotion race hots up.

The other Premier Division clash to take place on Tuesday sees Sutton Town entertain eighteenth-placed Thackley with the Snipes able to climb to eighth with victory.

There is also a top-flight tie on Wednesday as Selby Town take on Pickering Town at the Flaxley Road Ground.

Focus will also be at the summit of Division One on Tuesday night as table-toppers Parkgate host AFC Emley with the home side knowing that victory would increase their lead to fourteen points.

In knock-out action on Tuesday, there is an all Division One tussle in the third round of the League Cup as Winterton Rangers travel to Nostell Miners Welfare.

The winners are at home to Hallam in the Quarter-Finals.

Also on Tuesday night, there is Notts Senior Cup Third Round action as Teversal entertain Arnold Town in an all-NCEL clash whilst Gedling Town go to Rainworth Miners Welfare.

And then, on Thursday night, Retford United's packed week continues ahead of Saturday's FA Vase trip to Leamington as they host Radford.
