Worsbrough Name New Boss
12th October, 2009
Worsbrough Bridge Athletic have acted quickly in appointing their new manager.
Their search began when Darrell Bowman decided to step down at the weekend.
Following a meeting yesterday morning, the job was offered to ex-Goole Town manager Mick Norbury who has accepted the position.
A club spokesperson said: "Mick is an excellent coach who has Football League experience as a player and extensive experience and knowledge of non-league football as a player, coach and Manager.
"We are confident that Mick is the right man for the job and he will work initially to improve the league standing and help the club to eventually achieve the success that has for so long been their aspiration.
"We have had interest in the vacancy from several people and we would like to thank those people who have contacted us."
