Ammers Pre-Season Gathers Pace
2nd July, 2009
Yorkshire Amateur have been boosted by a "fantastic turnout" to their pre-season training so far.
The KoolSport NCEL Division One side are certainly putting their hopefuls through their paces this summer.
This year, they are training three times a week and also have an entire day away at the Army training centre planned.
There, the squad will be tested on the assault course, spend time on the firing range and generally being worked extremely hard by the Army Fitness Instructors.
Newcomers are more than welcome to attend the training sessions which take place on Roundhay Park, opposite the Roundhay School Gates starting at 7pm Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9.30 on Saturdays.
