Parkgate Appeal for Ground Help

6th June, 2011

Parkgate are looking for volunteers to spare a couple of hours to help with continuing ground improvements at the Roundwood Sports Complex.

After the Steelmen's very successful season, the club have embarked on getting the ground up to the standards required of higher leagues.

A new toilet block, changing room and office facility have already being installed, as well as improvements made to the playing surface and the area surrounding the pitch.

In order to complete the work before the start of the new campaign, the club is looking for volunteers to help with general handy work down at the ground.

The majority of the larger work has already been completed but things such as tidying up the new units, painting and general maintenance is still to be done.

Anyone who wants to help is asked to attend a meeting in the Roundwood clubhouse at ten o'clock on Saturday morning.
