Barton Town are getting ready for the arrival of a star-studded celebrity football team that is coming to the Easy Buy Stadium this Saturday (27th) for a charity match.

A squad of TV stars, actors, musicians and ex-professional footballers (click here to see their squad list) will be taking on a Hull City Legends Team that will be led out by legendary Tigers striker Dean Windass.

And, there will be a moment's applause before kick-off to remember Pete Skipper who led the Legends team in previous years.

The match will raise money for the Once Upon a Smile foundation that was founded in 2011 by Daniel Jillings and Danny Miller (Emmerdale actor) to provide emotional and practical support to bereaved families after it became apparent that there was a lack of support for families after the death of a loved one.

The target is to raise ?2500 and, as well as these two great teams, there will be performances by SDC Stingers Cheer Team on the pitch.
