Grant Takes Manager's Award at Farsley

2nd May, 2011

Farsley AFC capped off their KoolSport NCEL Premier Division championship winning campaign with their end-of-season presentation on Saturday night.

Mark Jackson scooped the Supporters' Club Player of the Year at a packed Throstle Nest social club, beating off competition from Simeon Bambrook (third) and midfielder Andy Cooper (second) to win the honour for the second time.

Young full-back Tom Jackson, who scored the first goal of Farsley's incredible fourteen game unbeaten run that saw them storm to the title, was the recipient of the prestigious Players' Player of the Season award.

Manager Neil Parsley gave a speech outlining his thoughts on the season and then announced his Manager's Player of the Season - Gareth Grant, pictured below.

Sponsors Suddards Davies elected also Goal G - one of 34-goal hero Ben Jones' strikes against Arnold Town in February - as the goal of the season with Bernard Wilder winning the prize of a VIP family ticket for a game of his choice for the forthcoming season.
