Rainworth Miners Welfare's appeal against their FA Cup exit at the weekend has been rejected.

They claimed that the referee failed to add on insufficient time despite a couple of long stoppages during their 2-1 defeat at Bedworth United.

But, the FA have said that their rule which makes the referee the sole arbiter of added time has to stand, although they admitted the circumstances were exceptional.

Meanwhile, allegations of misconduct by the Bedworth bench and some of their supporters are to be looked into by the FA's Disciplinary Committee as a separate issue.
