A Nostell Miners Welfare striker who went on to play in the Football League has been named the 'Find of the Year' by a BBC Radio Five Live reporter.
Writing in the latest FourFourTwo magazine, Mark Clemmit said: "Stockport's Oli Johnson, who was signed from Nostell Miners Welfare, who play in the Northern Counties Eastern Premier.
"When I watched him in action against Cheltenham alongside World BDO Darts finalist and County fan Tony O'Shea, we were transfixed.
"A winger, he's whippet-quick, runs right at defenders, shoots early and usually from distance, as he did when unleashing the winner that night."
A number of clubs, including Huddersfield Town, Fulham, West Brom, Leeds United and Scunthorpe United, are said to be looking at the young forward.
Meanwhile, Stockport County have agreed to play Nostell Miners Welfare in a pre-season friendly.
It takes place at the Crofton Community Centre on July 18th, kick-off 2.30pm.
