Pickering Town FC have appealed for a major turn-out to a supporters' meeting to help the club boost its bid to rise to a higher level.

Currently in the Northern Counties East League Premier Division, the aim is to advance to the UniBond League, according to chairman Tony Dunning.

With that goal in mind, a supporters' meeting entitled 'How To Help The Pikes Move Forward' will be held at the club's Mill Lane base tomorrow, starting at 7.30pm.

Fans are also asked to back one of the club's biggest fundraising ventures, its annual sponsored walk.
