Bunce and Madigan leave Skegness
28th January, 2019
Toolstation NCEL Division One side Skegness Town have announced that joint first team manager Martyn Bunce and assistant boss Terry Madigan have stepped down from their roles with immediate effect.
The duo had been in the dugout since the summer, replacing outgoing manager Nick Chapman ahead of the Lilywhites' first season back in the NCEL since the 1982/83 campaign.
They were joined in November by Nathan Collins who arrived at the Vertigo Stadium to work alongside Bunce.
Recent results have seen Skegness fall down to fifteenth in the table after one win in their last five games.
That followed a run of four successive victories in December that helped put daylight between themselves and the the relegation zone.
A statement released on the club's Twitter feed on Monday night said: "It is with regret that we announce that Martyn Bunce and Terry Madigan have stepped down as joint first team manager and assistant with immediate effect.
"We would like to thank them both for their efforts this season."
Skegness Town's next game is a League Cup Third Round trip to Selby Town on Tuesday night.
