New ground sponsors at Armthorpe

Toolstation NCEL Division One side Armthorpe Welfare have announced a new ground sponsor with their home now called the M Pilbeam Construction Stadium.

A thrilled Welfare chairman Lee Carmody said on Sunday evening: "It is with great pleasure we welcome Mark and M. Pilbeam Construction to the Armthorpe Welfare FC family and I would like to extend our thanks to our new ground sponsor for the 2018/19 season.

"As always, we are grateful to those sponsors who help raise the financial support needed to ensure the survival of local football and this sponsorship deal represents a huge boost for our club.

"The Toolstation NCEL is a competitive league which sees us visiting teams from as far afield as Bradford, Hull, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire as well as locally in Doncaster, Sheffield, Leeds, Barnsley and Wakefield.

"And, this season we are now proud to welcome visiting teams to the M. Pilbeam Construction Stadium, Church Street, Armthorpe.

"Here's looking forward to a successful campaign and a long and mutually beneficial relationship with our sponsors."

Founded in 1989, M. Pilbeam Construction are specialists in all kinds of building trade work, ranging from kitchens and bathrooms to extensions and roofing, and is one of only two Velux 5-Star Installers in the Doncaster area.

The company is run by Mark Pilbeam who is highly committed to ensuring that each customer receives a reliable, friendly service together with high quality workmanship.

He commented: "I’m pleased to be working with Armthorpe Welfare and glad to help the team and also to put a bit back into the community. Hopefully, it will be good to work together for everyone."

Welfare’s Commercial Adviser Derek Bucknall added: “I am very pleased to get Mark and M. Pilbeam Construction on board at Armthorpe to become the ground sponsor.

"It is a deal that is fantastic for the club and it's great to have a local business such as Mark's supporting us at Armthorpe."
