Vincent Takes Chairman Role Permanently
8th June, 2011
Ken Vincent has become Grimsby Borough's new chairman on a permanent basis.
He had taken over temporarily last month when Rona Simons had to step down due to ill health.
At the club's AGM at the Bradley Community Stadium last night, Vincent, who is also the current first team physio, accepted the position with great enthusiasm.
A spokesperson said: "Ken brings with him a lot of experience and know-how to an important role having been involved in local football for the past forty years.
"All the original officers and committee were reinstated and the feeling in the club is very positive for the new season ahead."
