Grimsby Borough are now only a week away from playing their first game at their new ?3m stadium.

The Wilderness Boys will make their debut at the Community Stadium on Tuesday 23rd November against Scarborough Athletic in the League Cup.

Secretary and assistant manager Nigel Fanthorpe said: "A lot of local interest has been shown towards the new stadium.

"The facilities are second-to-none, with the design of the ground based on Step 4 standard.

"It is the first time in Boro's short history that they have their own ground and base to push on into the next levels of the pyramid.

"Already local support is coming forward and, before long, Boro will have their own fan base."
