Busy Pre-Season For Brighouse

29th May, 2010

Brighouse Town's pre-season is sure to provide a stern test for Mark Brier's side ahead of their first full season in the KoolSport NCEL Prem.

Local neighbours and Evo-Stik Division One champions, FC Halifax Town, raise the curtain at the DualSeal stadium on the 17th July.

Over 500 were in attendance last year and there should be an equally massive turn out again for what should be a great day and a competitive challenge for Town.

Ramsbottom United will be the visitors on Tuesday the 20th before Evo-Stik Premier neighbours and beaten play-off finalists Bradford PA make the short trip to the DualSeal on Saturday 24th.

Former Division One adversaries AFC Emley are the opposition on Tuesday the 27th at 19:45 before two 'War of the Roses' battles complete the programme as Colne FC and Rochdale Town are the challengers at the DualSeal on the 31st July and 3rd August respectively.

It will prove to be great preparation for Brighouse Town and there is no better build up for the club's most important and high profile season to date.
